External Corrosion Direct Assessment (ECDA) Integrity Data Exchange (IDX) - Item No. 21124
Organization:
NACE - NACE International
Year: 2014
Abstract: This standard addresses ECDA indirect inspection data, including close-interval surveys (CIS), aboveground coating evaluation surveys (e.g., direct-current voltage gradient [DCVG] and Pearson survey), and corrosiveness of environment surveys (e.g., linear polarization resistance [LPR] probe surveys and pH/soil resistivity surveys).
This standard does not address specific procedures for performing surveys, validating, or interpreting indirect inspection data.
Sound engineering practice and common sense should be used to assure that survey data are valid. Error checks should be made at regular intervals to ensure the quality of data recorded and stored.
Some users may not find it applicable to their use.
