VEST, MAN'S - DRESS, BACKLESS (OFFICER'S)

Abstract: This specification covers requirements for optional backless vests in scarlet (General Officer\'s) and white for special occasions.
The vests are provided in one type, two classes (colors) and one size.
When the vest is custom tailored to an individual order, this specification shall govern, except the Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be of use in improving this document should be addressed to the Commander (PSE-D), Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA 22134-5010 by using the Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document or by letter.
detailed requirements of Section 3, Table I may be modified to the extent necessary for good custom tailoring practice.
Intended Use: The class 1 vest covered by this specification is for wear by Marine Corps General Officer\'s with the evening dress uniform and the class 2 vest is for wear by officers during special occasions as required.
