Abstract: This specification establishes the minimum requirements for the Electric Primer, Mark 45 Mod 1, herein referred to as the "primer."Intended Use: The MK 45 MOD 1 Electric Primer is intended for use as the initiator in the MK 67 MODs, 5"/54 caliber full propelling charge. Since the primer was developed strictly for use in a military gun charge, there is no commercial application.
