Abstract: This document specifies the requirements for the manufacture, assembly, and packaging of the CCU-143/A impulse cartridges and the methods of inspection and tests upon which product acceptance will be based. Intended Use: The CCU-143/A impulse cartridge is designed to be installed in mechanically fired initiators and to initiate Shielded Mild Detonating Cord (SMDC).
