Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for the manufacture and acceptance of the JAU-24/A Explosive Actuated Initiator, referred to herein as "initiator". Intended Use: The initiator, explosive actuated provides a nominal 0.3 second delay in the inter seat sequencing system of the FA-18B/D/F, T-45A and TAV-8B aircraft. As the initiator is designed only for these specific military aircraft, there is no commercial application for the JAU-24/A Explosive Actuated Initiator.
