Abstract: This specification covers one kind of shockproof, overwing, aircraft , fuel servicing nozzle, designated me MD-3.Intended Use: Type MD-3 nozzles are intended for use on ground equipment for servicing aviation gasoline, Jet fuel and water-alcohol mixtures (01) to aircraft. Type MD-3 nozzles can also be used for servicing automotive gasoline, diesel fuel, and light fuel oils to ground vehicles arid ground equipment. The type MD-3 nozzle replaces both the ND-1 and MD-2 nozzles covered by MIL-N-26978A.
