Abstract: This specification covers 1 type of Truss Assembly used with the Type V Airdrop Platform.
The Trusses will be of the following sizes, and as specified (see 6.2).
Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be used in improving this document should be addressed to: U.S. Army Natick Research, Development, and Engineering Center, Natick, MA 01760-5017, by using the Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document or by letter.
Intended Use: The intended use of the Trusses described in this document is to strengthen and link together several combinations of the Type V platform.
The Trusses will be of the following sizes, and as specified (see 6.2).
Type I - 12 Foot Type III - 20 Foot Type II - 16 Foot Type IV - 24 Foot
