Abstract: PURPOSE. This Manual establishes Coast Guard-wide policy for fire prevention, protection, suppression, fire safety risk management and emergency response services as an element of the overall Coast Guard Safety and Environmental Health Program. These guidelines establish requirements for unit fire prevention, protection and operational parameters for Coast Guard fire departments and fire brigades.
