Abstract: This Commercial Item Description (CID) covers the requirements for one type of U-30 aircraft towing tractor, hereafter referred to as tow tractor. The tow tractor is capable of towing military aircraft up to 850,000 pounds on dry level concrete. The primary intended use of this tow tractor is to tow C-5 military aircraft on US Air Force installations.
