Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for the manufacture and acceptance of the MXU-792A/A Thermal Battery, referred to herein as "battery pack". Intended Use: The battery pack is intended for use on the Navy Aircrew Common Ejection Seat (NACES). The battery pack supplies voltage to the electronic sequencer which in turn initiates impulse cartridges to perform certain work functions during an emergency ejection from the T-45A, F-18C, F-18D, and F-14D Aircraft. This device was designed for military use and has no commercial application.
