Abstract: This document gives the requirements for the manufacture, assembly, and packaging of the Cartridge, Impulse CCU-146/A and the verification methods upon which product acceptance will be based. Intended Use: The ballistic gas generated from the Cartridge, Impulse, CCU-146/A provides sustaining pressure to the NACES P31 catapult to continue the upward movement of the ejection seat prior to catapult separation and underseat rocket motor ignition. This cartridge was designed for military use and has no commercial applications.
