Abstract: This document covers requirements applicable to structural adhesive bonding of metal, composites, and core material in any combination. Intended Use: It is intended that the requirements of this document be mandatory requirements for use by contractors to assure the reliability of adhesive bonded structural components used in aerospace and other systems. Structural adhesive bonding is a critical process that must be properly controlled to achieve the benefits in lighter weight, lower cost, and fatigue improvement not obtainable in other types of construction.
