TRAINING SYSTEM, SUBMARINE PERISCOPE; GENERAL SPECIFICATION FOR

Abstract: This specification establishes the requirements for the design, development, fabrication and testing of a Submarine Periscope Training System (SPTS) for integration into fixed-base Submarine Attack Center Trainers (see 6.1). Intended Use: The SPTS will be used to train operators in proper periscope operation during a submarine approach and attack, for surveillance, reconnaissance and navigation. The SPTS will be used in conjunction with and as a part of an attack center trainer into which it is installed.
