CLOTH, BALLISTIC, NYLON, LIGHTWEIGHT, WATER-REPELLENT TREATED

Abstract: This specification covers water-repellent lightweight nylon ballistic cloth having a specified minimum ballistic resistance.
The cloth shall be of the following classes as specified (see 6.2).
Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be used in improving this document should be addressed to: U.S. Army Natick Research, Development, and Engineering Center, Natick, MA 01760-5019 by using the Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document or by letter.
Intended Use: The nylon ballistic cloth is intended for use in the manufacture of body armor, helmets, and armored clothing.
The cloth shall be of the following classes as specified (see 6.2).
Class 1 - Natural Class 2 - Camouflage Green 483 Class 3 - Woodland camouflage pattern Class 4 - (Deleted see 6.13)
