Abstract: This specification covers the detail requirements for black-and-white motion picture film.
Motion picture films covered by this specification shall be alpha-numerically classified, for physical and sensitometric characteristics, in accordance with table I Film Classification System of this specification. Intended Use: The films covered by this specification are intended for use in motion picture cameras, sound recorders, printers and projectors. The motion picture camera films are intended for use in cameras operating no faster than 128 frames per second, except when specified with fast cycling perforations.
