Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for BB-716/A, BB-432B/A, BB-476/A, BB-649A/A and BB-664/A vented, rechargeable nickel cadmium aircraft batteries and cells and harnesses used therein. Intended Use: The batteries, cells and harness covered by this specification are used in US Army aircraft. They are military unique because they must be able to operate reliably and satisfactorily on US Army aircraft, subject to severe flight maneuvers, environments and battlefield conditions.
