Abstract: PURPOSE. This Directive establishes the Coast Guard (CG) Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Program. It defines CG DM policy, standards, roles, responsibilities, and authority, including data modeling methodology standards, data exchange standards, and a data stewardship framework. It assigns responsibility for its governance to Commandant (CG-66) the CG Chief Enterprise Architect (CEA), on behalf of Commandant (CG-6), the CG Chief Information Officer (CIO).
