Abstract

Scope: This test method covers the determination of the time of setting of hydraulic cement paste by means of the Gillmore needles. The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The SI units, regarded as standard in ASTM C266, are provided for informational use only with regard to the original direction of mathematical conversion; as such, the inch-pound units are shown in parentheses.
