Abstract: This specification establishes the design, performance, manufacture and acceptance requirements for a chaff countermeasures cartridge designated RR-129/ALE. This cartridge, used with the AN/ALE-29, AN/ALE-37, and AN/ALE-39 dispensing sets, contains aluminum coated glass fiber dipoles used to create false targets for tracking radars.
