Abstract: This standard covers the procedure for applying tungsten carbide-cobalt coatings to metal parts by the detonation process and the acceptance criteria for the finished parts. Intended Use: This standard is intended for use when metal parts are to be spray coated with a tungsten carbide-cobalt coating using the detonation process. It establishes the application and test procedures and acceptance criteria for the parts so treated.
