Abstract: This specification covers a 900 cubic foot per minute (ft3/min) [425 liter per second (L/s)], fender-mounted, heavy-duty, two-stage, dry-type air cleaner assembly referred to herein as the "assembly" (see 6.1).Intended Use: The air cleaner is intended specifically for use on full-tracked, combat M60 series tanks. The air cleaner is military unique because it must operate under extreme dust and vibration combat conditions in all theaters of operation. Commercial air cleaners are not designed to operate under such extreme conditions.
