Abstract: Scope: This Standard specifies the height-adjustable swivel chairs for offices (hereafter referred to as "chairs"). The chairs specified in this Standard are one-person chairs intended mainly for office use composed of several main components such as a seat, a backrest, armrests and legs, whose upper part, which includes the seat, can rotate in the horizontal plane and can be adjusted in height. Knock-down type chairs are included.
