Abstract: Abstract:
Since Galileo used inherited Voyager transponders, the mission also inherited the problem that an uplink carrier suppression that is optimal for command purposes tends to degrade X-band telemetry. The lesson describes link accommodations successfully implemented by both Voyager and Galileo.
