Abstract: This Recommendation describes the IPv6 transition technologies which could be applied in NGN environment. The signalling requirements supporting NGN real-time multimedia services in IPv4 and IPv6 mixed network are specified. Three mechanisms for IPv6 transition are introduced in this Recommendation including dual stack, translation and tunnelling.
