Abstract: PURPOSE. This Instruction establishes policy, guidance, and responsibilities for the Coast Guard After Action Program (CGAAP) to document and act on lessons identified in contingency operations and exercises. This Instruction establishes the requirement to utilize the Contingency Preparedness System (CPS) as the system of record for the CGAAP.
