Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for the M10, M31, M42, M72, M114 Delay Cartridge Actuated Initiator Metal Parts Assembly (see 6.1). Intended Use: The assembly will ultimately be loaded and used in conjunction with other propellant actuated devices in aircrew emergency escape systems. Since the initiator was developed specifically for use in military aircraft, there is no commercial application.
