Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for one type multimeter used for the measurement of alternating current (ac) and direct current (dc) voltages, dc current, and resistance. Intended Use: The multimeter is intended for general purpose measurements of voltage, current, and resistance. No attempt should be made to use the multimeter for precision type measurements where the degree of accuracy required is greater than the capabilities of the multimeter.
