Abstract

This specification covers blended cotton and nylon twill cloth which is dyed and overprinted with the prescribed camouflage print. <br>The cloth shall be of the following classes as specified (see <a>6.2</a>): </span><pre> Class 1 - Camouflage pattern (6 color) for desert uniform Class 1A - Camouflage pattern (6 color) for desert uniform, quarpel treated Class 2 - (Deleted see <a>6.9</a>) Class <a>3</a> - Camouflage pattern (3 color) for desert uniform Class 3A - Camouflage pattern (3 color) for desert uniform, quarpel treated Class 3B - Camouflage pattern (3 color) for desert uniform, permethrin treated</pre> <br> <br><b><u>Intended Use:</u></b> The class 3 cloth is intended for use in both the Daytime and Nighttime Desert Camouflage Uniforms. Class 3 cloth is a replacement for both class 1 and class 2 cloths. Class 3A cloth is the replacement for class 1A cloth and is intended for use in both Daytime and Nighttime Desert Camouflage Uniforms which require a water repellent treatment. Class 3B cloth is intended for use in both Daytime and Nighttime Desert Camouflage Uniforms which require an insect repellent treatment. <br>
