RESIN COATING, PERMANENT, FOR ENGINE COMPONENTS AND METAL PARTS

Abstract: This specification covers one type of permanent resin coating for surfaces of engine components and metal parts. Intended Use: The material covered by this specification is intended for use as a permanent corrosion preventive, oil-resistant coating for metallic nonbearing surfaces of engine parts and other components. This material may also be applied to gear teeth and such other bearing surfaces where wearing off of the film will cause no detrimental effects and where tolerances greater than 0.002 inch are encountered.
