Abstract: Scope: These requirements only cover the electrical systems of personal battery operated electronic cigarettes, also known as e-Cigarettes, and their battery charging systems. These requirements do not cover the consumable of the electronic cigarette, such as e-Liquids and other inhaled vapor substances, wicks, and other particulate matter inhaled during use. These requirements do not consider the physiological effects of any consumable used with the product.
