IMPLEMENTATION OF DATA COLLECTION, DEVELOPMENT, AND MANAGEMENT FOR STRATEGIC ANALYSES

Abstract: PURPOSE. Pursuant to reference (a), this Instruction:
Implements policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for generating, collecting, developing, maintaining, and disseminating data on current and future U.S. and non-U.S. forces in support of strategic analyses conducted by the Department of Defense.
Establishes the Joint Analytic Data Management Steering Committee (JADMSC) under the provisions of DoD Directive 5105.18 (reference (b)).
This Instruction applies to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Military Departments, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Combatant Commands, the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, the Defense Agencies, the DoD Field Activities, and all other organizational entities within the Department of Defense (hereafter referred to collectively as "the DoD Components").
