(Pre-Published) Functional Requirements of high speed transmission over coaxial network connected with Fiber To The Building
Year: 2013
Abstract: This [draft new] Recommendation defines the functional requirements of HiNoC for high-speed data transmission over coaxial network connected with Fiber To The Building (FTTB). The functionalities described in this Recommendation is based on FTTB+coax architecture. HiNoC provides more bandwidth with the unassigned spectrum of the ‘last 100-meter' coaxial network. HiNoC also maintains the operations of the existing TV broadcast services.
