Abstract: This NATO/PfP UNCLASSIFIED AEP-62 Volume 2 is part of a document series, as laid down in AEP-62 from STANAG 4686 "PERFORMANCE LEVELS OF DEFENSIVE AIDS SUITES (DAS) FOR ARMOURED VEHICLES".
The AEP-62 is divided into the following Volumes:
Volume 1 DAS threat classification
Volume 2 Hard kill DAS performance levels (this volume)
Volume 3 Soft kill DAS performance assessment
Volume 4 Other effective sensors and countermeasure actions assessment
Volume 5 Injury criteria and tolerance level, fragments and pressure
Volume 6 Injury criteria and tolerance level, laser
Volume 7 Procedure for the assessment of the integration
Volume 8 Other effects and injury criteria (non blast, non fragments and non laser)
Volume 2 describes the methodology to categorize the performance of hard kill-DAS.
