description abstractVarious NASA programs at KSC make maximum use of existing ground systems (GS). Consequently, the designer must determine whether existing cables can be used as is or be modified, or if new cables are required.
This handbook contains a list of specifications, standards, and reference documents that shall be used in the design, fabrication, and assembly of GS cables at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC). The remainder of this handbook contains cross-reference and pictorial indexes of cables and connectors used at KSC.
This handbook addresses all presently designed standard KSC cable subassemblies and information for selecting components for new requirements to interface with existing or new equipment. Also included in Appendix A are Ohm's Law formulas and a conversion table.
