| description abstract | This specification is used in the procurement of the Illumination Transformer Mk 22 Mod 0. This transformer steps down a voltage to provide seven different voltages for operating reticle lamps in a sight unit. This unit is of one type and has been designated as Illumination Transformer Mk 22 Mod 0. Intended Use: Illumination Transformer Mk 22 Mod 0 was designed for use as a component in Aircraft Fire Control System Mk 16. This transformer supplies voltages for operating reticle lamps in Sight Unit Mk 11. Patent notice.
