Abstract: This specification is used in the procurement of the Illumination Transformer Mk 22 Mod 0. This transformer steps down a voltage to provide seven different voltages for operating reticle lamps in a sight unit. This unit is of one type and has been designated as Illumination Transformer Mk 22 Mod 0. Intended Use: Illumination Transformer Mk 22 Mod 0 was designed for use as a component in Aircraft Fire Control System Mk 16. This transformer supplies voltages for operating reticle lamps in Sight Unit Mk 11. Patent notice. When government drawings, specifications, or other data are used for any purpose other than in connection with a definitely related government procurement operation, the United States Government thereby incurs no responsibility nor any obligation whatsoever; and the fact that the government may have formulated, furnished, or in any way supplied the said drawings, specifications, or other data is not to be regarded by implication or otherwise as in any manner licensing the holder or any other person or corporation, or conveying any rights or permission to manufacture, use, or sell any patented invention that may be related thereto.
