Abstract: Use/relationship: The ACPIN Data and control record provides for the assignment of a CPIN for embedded computer system software. The CPIN is used by the government for configuration management of software and also to facilitate software distribution.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirements as delineated in the contract.
This DID is applicable to software development for all weapon systems.
