REPAIR KIT, GLASS REINFORCED PLASTIC LAMINATE

Abstract: This specification covers a repair kit containing epoxy type thermosetting resins, in paste and liquid forms, with associate hardener, and glass reinforcing materials. This kit is used for making repairs to sections of reinforced plastic boats and other structures.
Repair kits shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2):
Intended Use: The type I kit is intended to provide a complete assemblage of materials (not tools) for making minor, permanent, structural repairs to glass reinforced plastic items, notably boats. The type II kit is a refill kit, particularly for users who do frequent repairs and already have the necessary stirring sticks, scissors, instruction manuals, and the like. The type III kit contains only those materials selected by the user activity.
