Abstract: This specification covers special high-pressure cylinders for storage of compressed gases.Intended Use: The intended use for cylinders covered by this specification is in applications requiring the nonmagnetic characteristic. For such applications the DOT Specification 3AA, steel cylinders in accordance with RR-C-901 would not be suitable. Each application of cylinders as specified herein should be evaluated because DOT Specification 3AL, aluminum cylinders covered by RR-C-901 might be suitable.
