Abstract: This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist of this specification sheet and the issue of the following specification listed in that issue of the Department of Defense Index of Specifications and Standards (DODISS) specified in the solicitation: MIL-I-3190
The sleeving shall be of the following classification:
Class 220°C, Type D, Category c Intended Use: The temperature index for this class of sleeving at 15,000 hours is 220°C. The sleeving covered by this specification is intended for applications in electrical equipment requiring primary insulation having good low temperature flexibility, high moisture and humidity resistance, excellent mechanical protection and abrasion resistance. Revision letters are not used to denote changes due to the extensiveness of the changes.
