Abstract: This specification covers one grade of high purity (see 6.1). Intended Use: The styrene monomer is the standard commercial material used in all general purpose applications and is sufficiently pure to be used for applications such as optical cements which require high purity. Its chief applications are expected to be for the preparation of cements for joining various materials and as a component for plastic bonded explosives.
