Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for 90 gallons per minute (gal/min), 1-½-inch portable in-line eductors used with Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) liquid concentrate for fire fighting. Intended Use: The eductor covered by this specification is intended for use on surface ships. The eductor is a component of a portable shipboard fire fighting system that introduces Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) into water to supply an AFFF and water mixture for firefighting purposes.
