Abstract: This specification covers a self-contained, trailer-mounted, floodlight set, equipped with a diesel-engine-driven, 6000 watt (W)(20 473 British thermal units per hour (Btu/hr) generator and a mechanically operated telescoping floodlight tower. The floodlight set is intended for use at shore establishments and for military field application under all kinds of climatic conditions. It is a completely self-contained unit, suitable for use as a source of electrical floodlighting in remote locations, with electrical power as an auxiliary feature.
