Abstract: This specification covers two types of argon gas for use in inert gas shielded electric arc welding of aluminum, magnesium, corrosion-resisting steel and other alloys.
Argon shall be of the following types as specified (see 6.2).
Intended Use: The argon covered in this specification is intended for use in inert gas shielded electric arc welding of aluminum, magnesium, corrosion resisting steel and other alloys.
