Abstract: This Standard describes the minimum application requirements for asphalt strip shingles on roofs with slopes 1:3 and steeper.
Note: Roof Substrate and Ventilation Below Substrate. Appendix A is included to provide recommendations for acceptable substrate for shingles; Appendix B, recommendations for acceptable ventilation below the shingle substrate; and Appendix C, recommendations on the application of asphalt shingles over insulation.
