Abstract: Purpose and Scope
This test method determines the drying rate of a fabric, exposed to a prescribed volume of water, while in contact with a heated plate set at 37°C (99°F), the skin surface temperature at which the human body starts to perspire.
This method is applicable to all types of fabrics, including knits, wovens, and non-wovens, as well as to fabrics taken from end product items.
