description abstractThis document's scope is limited to measurements being utilized at KSC in ground support equipment. This set of guidelines has been developed by the NASA KSC Instrumentation Branch of the Engineering Directorate. It is intended to provide a consolidated and consistent approach for the selection of measurements. It is also intended to provide a listing of recommended equipment requirements and their definitions and usage to aide in the development of GSE subsystems at KSC.
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to establish the process for the selection of sensors, transducers and signal conditioners (henceforth known as measurements) for use as ground support equipment (GSE) at Kennedy Space Center (KSC). This document will explain the process for measurement selection and define the four levels of minimum requirements for sensors and transducers.
