Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for hose, rubber, aircraft, fuel, oil, coolant, water, and alcohol, for use in aircraft engine applications.Intended Use: The intended use of the hose is for use in fuel, oil, coolant, water, and alcohol lines in aircraft engine installations. If used in lengths greater than 18 inches, however, the hose has a tendency to collapse. The rubber hose covered by this specification is a military unique item that is designed to withstand flexing at low temperature -40°F (-40°C), and be capable of high temperature circulation to various types of fluids.
