Abstract: This specification covers one type of aircraft camera utilizing a 12, 24, or 36 inch focal length lens cone for obtaining 9 by 18 inch reconnaissance photographs when used in conjunction with a film magazine. The camera is designated Type KA-1( ).
A number will be placed within the parentheses of the type designation. This number will be furnished upon application by the contractor to the Procuring Agency after the award of each contract. The complete type designation will be used on nameplates, shipping records, and in instruction books, as applicable.
