FOTP124 Polarization-Mode Dispersion Measurement for Single-Mode Optical Fibers by Interferometry

Abstract: This procedure is restricted to wavelengths greater than or equal to that at which the fiber is effectively single-mode. The cutoff wavelength λcf of an uncabled fiber may be determined by FOTP-80, while the cutoff wavelength λcc of a cabled fiber may be determined by FOTP-170.
